As the owner of a beauty clinic, you are a busy person! After attending to clients, staff and admin, there is just not enough time left.

If you want your business to grow, you must find the time to work on your business, and figure out ways you can get more clients in the door. We have 5 ways that you can raise the awareness of your clinic within your target market so that you have more people coming to you for their beauty needs:

Always look after the needs of your existing clients first

This is an important one to start off with. The most effective way to attract new clients is by doing an excellent job of looking after your existing ones. Making them feel special, going the extra mile and having a loyalty program will go a long way to bring them back for more. An over-satisfied client is more likely to recommend your services to a friend, and the cycle of word-of-mouth begins. A recommendation from a friend or family member is more trustworthy than any form of advertising. Focus on your regular clients first and reap the rewards.

Existing relationships

Create ‘social proof’ online

When potential clients find you online, it is important they they can see some examples of your existing happy clients, also know as social proof. Ask for written reviews of your services and make sure to post the great ones to your website or your Facebook page. For a more visual approach, invite your customers to post their before and after shots on Facebook or Instagram with a hashtag that you have chosen. You could even turn this one into a competition to get some momentum!

Social proof

Do some targeted advertising on Facebook

No business has money to throw away on unnecessary things, and the same goes for advertising spend. The great thing about advertising on social media is that you can focus on your target audience, and can quickly see if it’s getting results or not (unlike that ad you put in the newspaper that never worked).

Targeted ads

Using Facebook advertising, you can target your ads to a particular age bracket, gender, interest and location. So you might run an ad that displays only to females, aged 20 – 50, who live in your city and have expressed an interest in skincare.

By targeting specific interests, you can attract new followers to your page who are already qualified as being an ideal client. That way you know that your Facebook followers are relevant to your business, and are more likely to turn into a client.

Add online booking functionality to your website and Facebook page

You should always make it as easy as possible for people to book with you. No matter where they are and what time of day it is. A great way to do this is to have an online booking system on your Facebook page and your website. This means that people can book in with you anytime of the day or night, and it’s doesn’t matter if you’re available to take the booking or not.

Book Now

This requires no work from you as the owner of the business, or your staff, yet it is super convenient for your clients. You can even attract new clients through this – if you come up in a Google search, they may end up on your website and be so happy with what they’ve found they book there and then! Ideal!

Run a competition to get instant buy-in from potential clients

Running a competition is a great way to increase brand awareness and get some new faces into your clinic. Firstly, you must be offering a good prize that is relevant to your business. If you want to get entries from possible future clients, the prize will have to be pretty good too. Make sure you make a big noise about the winner receiving the prize as well!

Prizes

These are 5 simple tactics that any clinic owner can put in place in the effort to attract new clients. There are so many more – the opportunities are endless but sometimes you just have to take a step back to see the bigger picture.
