To reduce errors and ensure campaigns target the right people every time, we’ve changed how Mailchimp syncs with Timely.
We know that Mailchimp has been a frustrating experience for some of our customers. The data sync between Mailchimp and Timely hasn’t been up to our standards – or yours. Some of you have encountered syncing errors, and we know it’s frustrating if your campaigns don’t reach the right people.
Our teams have also been working hard to identify the issues with the Mailchimp sync errors and for now, we’ve turned off the auto-sync feature. This means that only the necessary data is transferred at the right time, reducing errors and ensuring your campaigns are sent to the right clients.
So, from now on, all you have to do is hit the “Refresh customers” button in our Timely account on the Add-Ons page, before sending a campaign.
If you’re making adjustments to what customer segments sync over, click ‘Save’ first then ‘Refresh customers’.
