Appointment scheduling software company Timely takes out the ninth annual Microsoft NZ ‘Rising Star’, Partner of the Year Award amidst stiff competition from finalists AcrePC, Inde and SecureCom at a black tie event held last night in Auckland.
A record number of submissions were received this year from predominantly Kiwi cloud-based solution providers making notable impacts on the New Zealand technology landscape. The awards recognise Microsoft partners who demonstrate excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technologies.
“Timely are clearly a fast growing company, and are utilising cloud technology effectively for global expansion. They’re exporting Kiwi innovation to 76 countries and counting” – Microsoft NZ.
The win coincides with a record week for Timely hitting both revenue and customer milestones and also being announced as a finalist in the New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards alongside industry icons Vend, Orion Health and Movio.
Timely CEO Ryan Baker is humbled by the industry recognition and credits the win to the incredible Kiwi talent Timely has been able to attract.
“We’re totally thrilled with the industry recognition that this award brings. There were many incredible businesses nominated this year, so to come out on top is a real buzz for our entire team. We’ve been on the Microsoft Azure platform since day one. Not only did it enable us to get a product to market quickly and start building our community of users, it’s also enabled us to scale fast. We’re now in 80 countries and growing daily. The Microsoft platform have grown with us, done the heavy lifting and let us focus on the most important thing… our customers.”
Timely will now go on to compete in the Microsoft Global Awards program at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference taking place in July in Toronto, Canada.
