New Timely app for iPhone and iPad
After releasing the Timely iOS app last year, we saw a huge increase in traffic from iPhones and iPads. It was a hit! We're determined to provide a great experience on these devices, so we immediately set to work on making it better.
And so, we’re delighted to announce that we’ll soon roll out a new, fully-native app for iPhone and iPad.
This has been a significant initiative at Timely and we’re super-excited about releasing it within the next 2-3 months. This first release will include the calendar, customer and message areas, the ability to add/edit appointments and busy times, as well as great note-taking capabilities. A later version will include point-of-sale and transactional functionality.
One of the most exciting aspects of this project is that it’s allowed us to take a clean-slate approach to the design of key user interactions. Here’s a sneak peak of a completely new layout we’ve developed for adding appointments:
The web-based version of Timely will also benefit hugely from this project: our plan is to progressively carry over elements of the design and layout to existing screens in Timely.
We hope you like what you see. If you want to try out the new Timely app for iPhone and iPad, you can register your interest in our early access group, or if you have a question you can leave a comment below.

I would like there to be a spot for an emergency contact.
Hi Hannah, the best place to add that is in the "Alerts/Contra" field against a customer. That will show up on the iPad/iPhone app when you view an existing appointment, or book a new appointment. Hope that helps!

It would be amazing if the "photo" that you can add under a clients file could be viewed bigger and able to upload multiple photos, as we take before and after photos of our treatments and constantly taking progress shots. So that we can keep on track with our clients.
Another addition we need would be the ability to upload PDFs, jpegs ect to add to a clients file, as we have client intake forms and important information that we need to record.
Agree this would be an awesome addition to the app. Right now we're focusing on getting the calendar and appointment booking experience bang-on. Once that's done we can look at adding features like this that really take advantage of all the bells and whistles that the iPad/iPhone provides.

I would like an area where you can snap a photo of new client form and or scan and upload it to client file.
This one is definitely on the list! - it's one of the great things about having a native app, i.e. we can easily hook into the hardware including the camera.

A month view in the mobile app calendar would be extremely helpful for our employees. Also, an easy way to bounce between the desktop version and the app would be nice.

So happy that the iPhone / iPad apps will be updated. Navigating through my therapists is a nightmare and doesn't recognise when I change the name, frequently having to press the name button (on my iPhone) about 5/6 times. Thanks for keeping up with the updates.
I hear ya! The native apps will definitely be much nicer to use for these kinds of everyday integrations.
